The location was magnificent and great, in the middle of the city, it's a plus. I tried some drinks at bar The Foot of the Walk, located 5 minutes walk away...

The location of this guesthouse is incredibly convenient, with a tram stop just a stone's throw away and plenty of interesting shops, sights, and eating places within walking distance. the room I stayed in was spacious and had a cute window with a nice view down the street. the staff members were friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. They even upgraded our room for free to one with an ensuite, which was a lovely surprise. the guesthouse had a well-equipped kitchen with a washing machine and dryer available for use.
Some areas of the guesthouse were in need of proper maintenance, such as the cooker being out of action and some showers only producing cold water.

The bathroom in our room was huge and the shower was awesome, with lots of space and reliable water temperature. the staff was super nice and very caring, making our experience at this guesthouse very pleasant. the location was great, just around the corner from a street with lots of beautiful pubs and lovely people. We could easily walk to the city center and many sights, or take public transport which was just a short walk away. the stable wifi was definitely a bonus.
The lack of an elevator wasn't a big deal, but it would have been nice to have one. In terms of the room, the exposed overhead bulb was a bit harsh and the floor felt grimy.

I recently stayed at the Leith City Centre Guesthouse for a few nights. The host was welcoming and gave us a quick tour. The location is convenient, with a short walk to the city center and plenty of buses available. The room was fantastic for the price, very clean with modern amenities. The provided linen and towels were of high quality. The area felt safe and had a great atmosphere, with lots of pubs, restaurants, and a Tesco right across the street. The host, Dario, was lovely and gave us helpful tips. I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms at Leith City Centre Guesthouse Apartment were cozy and comfortable. We loved the seating area, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring Edinburgh. The room with a washing machine was a bonus, making our stay even more convenient. And having a kitchen in the double room was convenient for preparing simple meals. we felt right at home.
The only downside was the lack of a microwave. It's just a personal preference, but having one would have been really handy for quick meals.
